The Nissan Tekton and Renault Duster share the same Renault-Nissan CMF-B platform with nearly identical dimensions.

The 2026 Nissan Tekton and 2026 Renault Duster are both based on the Renault-Nissan CMF-B modular platform and share nearly identical dimensions, though small differences separate the two SUVs.

The Tekton measures 4,348mm in length, 1,815mm in width and 1,674mm in height, with a 2,657mm wheelbase. The Duster matches the Tekton’s length and wheelbase exactly, but is 2mm narrower at 1,813mm and 18mm shorter at 1,656mm in height.

Both SUVs use identical engine options for their base and mid-range trims: a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol with 100hp and 166Nm paired only with a 6-speed manual, and a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol with 163hp and 280Nm, offered with either a manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic. The Duster will additionally get a 1.8-litre strong hybrid petrol option this festive season.

Nissan has priced the Tekton from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 18.59 lakh across six variants, while the Duster runs from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 18.09 lakh across five variants. Both SUVs are manufactured at Renault’s Tamil Nadu facility and will compete against the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Volkswagen Taigun, among others.
